Acts 20:17-35
Father I thank you for the opportunities we have had as a married couple to serve you throgh our lives.Lord hough childrens work, music, leadership, small group development and pastoral care of couples. I feel now at least the bulk of my service for you is through my family and my work. Lord help me to serve you through all I do.

2 Corinthians 13
Lord I pray for church leaders and especially pastors this morning. Would you mould them in your own image,where they love sacrificially, lead with authority and distribute discipline with the Fathers heart and with grace, that through them your life changing kingdom may be established here on earth.

2 Corinthians 12
Father I pray that you would help me accept my weaknesses and that through them your strength may be displayed for the good of your kingdom. Help me always to know your love for me, regardless of my situation. Would you help me share this love.

2 Corinthians 11:16-33
Praise you Lord that through what would appear to be weakness, you indeed won salvation for the whole human race. Lord help me always judge success by your standards and not bythose of the world. Lord I thank you that in many areas I am weak. Through these you have the opportunity to show your strength. Let your light shine through me today I pray.

2 Corinthians 11:1-5
Lord I thank you that the gospel is packed full of good news. Clearly at its heart is teh saving work of Jesus, but this is just the start. I thank you that this gospel, this good news rolls out to every aspect of my life. Lord would you help me reach out to others with the full power of this gospel.

2 Corinthians 10:1–18
Lord I ask this morning that in all things you would help me develop consistency. I pray that my words and actions may be one, and that through my life others may see your life flowing through me. Would you always strengthen me to stand up for my faith and give me wisdom to know when to act, when to speak and when to pray.

Psalm 85
Lord God I thank you so much for the forgiveness, new ife, joy, salvation and peace that you have won for me. Now that I am cleansed and restored, I ask for your help that I may live in such a way that people will recognise and respond to you through me. Help me always to include you in everything I do.

Acts 7:9-19
Although I am a multi-faceted person, I would praythis morning that you would develop in me charcteristcs that would most benefit your kingdom. For Joseph Isee wisdom and grace. Lord would you develop these in me so that I may grow into a powerful witness for you and so that I may have a profound effect on those around me.

Genesis 49:29-50:26
Father I know that unforgiveness and bitterness are crippling attributes that not only stunt growth but damage all invoved. I would ask that you wuld help forgive and prevent me from becomig bitter. In all I do I ask that you ould help me keep focused upon you and your will and plan for my life.

Genesis 49:1-28
Father I thank you that in and through your word there is all I need to knowabout you. Clearly there is more to know, but not for me and not at this time. When I meet you in heaven I look forward to knowing you fully. I thank you that there is no small print or hidden clauses. Through your word you have shown me who you are and what I need to do to live in relationship with you.

Genesis 47
Father I realise there is onlyon way to move on and that is to move and be focused forward. I ask you that you would always help me me keep an eye on the future. Not just the rest of my life on earth, but my future, my glorious inhertence spent in eternity with you.

In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease

Genesis 46:1-7, 26-34
You and only you Father God knows the future. I thank you fo the promise made in this scripture that ou wil be with me as my lifeunfolds. Thank you that the relationship that we enjoy now is for ever.

Genesis 45
Father God I feel like I live in times of chaos, so busy, juggling so many plates. I do struggle to make sense of many of the things happening in my life, but I am not worried, I am confident and I trust in you Father. I know that you see the end from the beginning and I thank you that I can cast all my worries on to you because you care for me.

Psalm 105:1-22
Father God I thank you for the reminder that you are sovereign and hold all things together. I still struggle with natural disasters and wars, I ‘m not sure why you allow these to happen. I thank you that you want to use my life story and weave it into your purposes for your kingdom’s sake. Help me be completely aware of the opportunities you provide.

Romans 12:9-21
Father I fully understand your direction to turn the other cheek and not take revenge, in practice it is not so easy. So I ask Father, in practical terms that you would help me bless those who persecute me, honou others and live at peace with all men. In my own strength, as a fallen humn being this is almost impossible. Holy Spirit dwell within me to change my life I pray.

Genesis 44
I am fully aware that sin does have conseqenses. For me as a sinner I am also aware that repentance can have such a positive, uplifting effect Lord I as that you would always help me deal with sin in my life and that as I turn from it, the positive change it hs n my life would be noiceable to all.

Genesis 43
It is quite simply amaing that you the creator and sustainer of the universe should pay the price for my sin and prepare a feast for me in heaven. Than you so mch for the love and support you shower on me.

Genesis 42:25-38
Father I thank you that you have placed me in your world here and now. I thank you too for the people you have put around me whom I can trust and be accountable to. Would you help me share my good intentions openly that might then live up to my hearts desire to live and serve you. Continue to help me take accountablility seriously.

Genesis 42:1-24
Father this story reminds me that we all have a psat. Lord in my case mypast sometimes feels like I have been in chains in prison. From time to time my guilty conscience overwhelms me. Today I thank you for the freedom you give. Through your son Jesus you have broken the chais of my past and invited me to a guilt free life. 1 John 19 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Genesis 41:17-45
Father I love this example of the unity between spiritual gifting and worldly outcomes. Lord Joseph used the talent you gave himto glorify you and in return was blessed with earthy authority. Lord hep me today to ensure that I give you th credit you deserve, help me point away from myself and to you always.

Psalm 77
Lord I thank you, that in my expreince, there has not been many occasions when I have felt abandoned or forgotten by you. In the midst of some of my more challenging times youhave seemed even closer. I thank you that your word tells me that you will never leave or foresake me, and so, if I haven't heard from you I guess everthing is ok or I need a spiritual hearing check.

Mark 9:33-50
Father God I thank you this morning for a reminder abot the iportance of servanthood. Regardlessof my posiion of authority I would ask Father that you would develop in me a servant heart. I thank you for Jesus' example and ask that you would potect me from hinking tha I am more important than I actually am. Keep me humble, develp my servant attitude I pray.

Genesis 41:1-16
Father I am constantly amazed that you the creator and sustainer of the univese isinterested in me! Lor I thank you that even the small, apparently insgnificant details of my life are known about by you. Thank you that you desire to become involved. You are majestic and that you lnow and love me is mind blowing. I love you Father God.

Genesis 40
I do thank you that you do fulfl rams and keep promises. I pray Lord that you would help me,even in hrd times keep hold of what you have promised me. Lord would you contiue to give me hope of glorious future in your presence.

Father I thank you that you have so clearly guided me in my field of work. I thank you too for the many blessings you have poured out on me. I ask Father that you would continue to help me be sucessful in my work place and that through your people you may bless the entire shool community. I ask that you would give me wisdom in all I do.

Genesis 37:12-36
Father I thank you that you have known me since the moment I was conceved and that you have planned each day for me. Lord I thank you that my eternal destiny is with you in heaven, realise there ma be detours along the way butI ask that thrugh me you would acomplish all you have planned, regardless of the barriers and hurdles that come my way

Genesis 37:1-11
FatherI thank you for the young people in our church who have dreams to change the world for you. Help me always encourage the pursuit of following dreams whilst at the same time helping them see this is not about their fame and glory but about yours. Lord I pray that you would fulfil the dreams you have given to our young people.

Job 24:1-24
Father you know very well that I live in time of war. War aganst the power and dominions that are against your will and purposes that in turn leads to war against humans who either go out of their way to bring darkness into your world or those who ignore you with apathy. Lord help me be aware of this confict and always rely upon you. Lord thank you for Job's confidence in you, in the midst of a personal raging war. He was so certain of his relationship wih you, you gave him hope

Matthew 5:27-32
I thank you Father that marriage for some is your good idea. Lord again I thnk you for my marriage to Liz. I pray for those marriages that are struggling and especially today those who are divoreced or seperated. Father draw close to them that they may know your healin touch and constat love for them.

Proverbs 6:20-35
Thank you Father once more for the reminder about faithfuless in marriage. Lord keep Liz and I from tempatation, guard and protect our love for each other. Help us to turn to you in prayer in times of difficulty and help us to reslove our differences and arguments quickly so that we can move on.

Proverbs 6:1-19
Father God I have made many mistakes in the past. Although I am not proud of them, I thank you that through them you have taught and encouraged me to live a more holy life from there on in. Lord I ask that you would help me free myself from the past. Help me live in the light of your forgiveness and your salvation today.
