1 Peter 3:1-7
Father I thank you that so much of my faith is worked out in my family life. It is easy Father to take people for granted when I live with them all of the time. Help me often to remember how special they are and what a blessing they are to me. Help me trat Liz and the kids with kindness and respect always.

Psalm 93
Thnak you Father that you do reign. You are the soverign God, creator of all I know and experience. You hold this fragile world in your hands and although dtorms and seas may crash against me, I know that in your care I am fully secure. Yu are my anchor in times of trouble, you lift me up when I fall down! Hallelujah.

Exodus 19:1-6,16-25
Holy, all powerful God, I worship youand thank yo for your Holiness, majesy and splendour. I thnak you that you want an intimate relationship with me, but help me not to get confused. Yes you are my friend but you are also an awesome God. Help me avoid overfamiliarity and treat you with the absolute and ultimate respect you deserve.

When He rolls up His sleeves

1 Peter 2:11-25
Lord as your people you have called u to make an impact on the world. Lord for me this is not an easy job, but one I know I have been called too. Father I pray that today you would give me the mindset of Brother Lawrence, that in all I do I might be mindful of you.

1 Peter 2:4-10
Father thank you that you have called me to a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation that belongs to you, Help me I pray live up to my calling.

1Peter 1:22-2:3
Father I thank you once more for the power of your word. It has changed my lif and continues to devlop areas of unholiess into areas of holiness. It, apart from your son, is the best gift you have given me. Holy Spirit would you renew my love of God's word and fill me with passion to wrestle and understand what you are communicating to me through it.

1 Peter 1:13-21
Father I hope that if I were on trial for being a christian, I would be found guilty. I am quite confident that this would be the case with my public persona, help me develop my thoughts into those which please you. Help me Father in all I do today to be Christlike.

1 Peter 1:1-12
Thank you Jesus for your transforming power, power that has changed my life, my eternal destiny. I thank you for my salvation and ask that you would continue to reveal your presence to me through good and bad times. Help me be more aware of your presence each and every day.

Psalm 119:49-72
I thank you for the bible, the predominant way you communicate with me. I ask that you would develop within me a real passion for your word that through it I may shape my life in accordance with your will. Lord I simple ask that as I read your word its transforming power would change my life.

Hebrews 9:1-14
Father I thank you this morning that we no longer need to offer sacrifices as your people did in the times when Leviticus was written. Lord Jesus you became my sacrifice, dying the death I deserved for the sins I committed. You and you alone have made me righteous, not through any action on my part but through what you accomplished on Calvary. Help me sin no more and live a holy life in respect for what you have bought for me.

Leviticus 23:15-25,33-44
Father I do thank you for the very visual, practical ways you have given us to remember your acts of provision and goodness to us. Lord I thank you for the gifts of communion that helps me remember the gift of salvation you gave me through Jesus’ death and resurrection. I thank you too for the gift of the Holy Spirit that makes my faith alive and real to me.

Leviticus 23:1-14
Father I thank you for the rhythm of life, for seasons and celebrations. I ask Father that you would help me enjoy your seasons and your festivals. Lord I pray that regular Sabbath rest may become part of my weekly routine. Lord help me celebrate each of the festivals of the Christian calendar in a way that brings you pleasure.

Leviticus 19:1-18
Father you are the Lord of all people. Help me to develop a heart that cares for the vulnerable and needy in our society. Lord our Society in the UK is well equipped with social services, but there are still needy people who would appreciate support. Give me wisdom and insight Lord as well as my fellow leaders of ECBC.

Leviticus 16:1-22
I thank you Father for the forgiveness I have received through Jesus. I thank you in particular for the image today of the transferring of sin from the people to the goat, sent into the desert to completely remove sin. I thank you that this is what Jesus has done for me, completely removed my sin that I might live a life free from it. “It was for freedom that Christ has set me free”. Help me live to enjoy this freedom.

Leviticus 1:1-17
I thank you Jesus that you are the perfect sacrifice, once and for all. Lord thank you that you in every way gave up all you had for me. Help me to give you all of me, the very best bits, not just the bits that are left over. Help me give you the very best of my time, talents and resources that I may give you the worship you deserve.

Psalm 135
Lord I praise you this morning for everything you have done for me. In particular I praise you for my family and work. In every situation you have guided and provided wonderful opportunities for me. Lord you have had your hand upon my life and for that I praise you.

Matthew 12:1-14
Lord I ask that you would change my attitudes as well as my actions. I ask that you would change me so that my attitudes become in line with yours showing mercy. Lord in many ways it is easier for me to give sacrifice than to show mercy. You are a merciful Lord, help me to reflect this nature today.

Hosea 14: 1-9
Father I thank you for your mercy and forgiveness. I ask today that you would help me always to walk in your ways and be dependant upon you. Lord help me walk in your ways that I might receive your favour, that you may make me fruitful, that the work I do for you may blossom.

Hosea 11:1-11
I thank you God that you are a father to me, you have seen from conception and have been with me as I have grown. I thanbk you specifically for the mercy you have shown me, For the healing you have given me, for the wisdom you are developing in me and for the relationships and influence I have ay home, church and work.

Hosea 6:1-7:12
I do thank you Father God for the routine I have developed in studying your word and praying. I am mindful that sometimes this has just been routine and so I ask now that during these next few weeks you might start to use my routine time to really develop my relationship with you.

Hosea 2:2-3:5
Father thank you for this illustration of how you so desire to be in relationship with your people. Father I ask that you would forgive me for the times when I have wandered from you and do not play my part in our relationship. Thank you that you are always faithful.

Hosea 1:1-2:1
Lord I have had some difficult things to do in my life, but none as difficult as what you called Hosea to do in this accont. Lord I pray thast I would become more and more obedient to you and that through my obedience you would bring blessing, not just to me but othersd also.

Psalm 20
Father I thank you for your greatness and your power. I thank you that you have carried me through many of the trials I have expereinced. Lord I do pray that you would give me my heart's desire and that my heart would be after your own. Lord give me what I need and not what I want. Change my heart to desire your will and not my own I pray.

Hosea 11:12-12:6
Father I thank you for the many opportunites you have given me as a spiritual parent. I pray for all those I have helped nurture, that they may grow stronger in you and then in turm nuture others. For myself I ask that you would keep me close to you, help me live differently and give me patience to wait upon you.

Gen 35:1-22
Father I thank you for the leadership roles you have called me to, in my family, in church and at work. I thank you that you have enabled me not to compartmentalise my roles, but serve you through them all. I realise too Father that you still have much more for me to do in leadership and I place myself in your will, ready and willing to do what you want.

Gen 33:1-20
Father thank you that you are not only the God of grace, but also the God who gives grace to us. Lord in this account of the reuniting of Jacob and Esau, Jacob approaches in fear and trepidation. Grace had gone ahead and the peaceful reunion is a real blessing. Lord I ask for those I know that are suffering with broken relationships that you would pour your grace upon thisr lives and bring restoration, peace and harmony.

Gen 32: 22-32
Father meeting with you clearly changed Jacob's life. My meeting with you has chnaged mine. Lord as you wrestled with Jacob he became stronger. Through my difficulties and temptations I pray too that I would become strong and pure in you and for that reason, change my name to Gower (pure) Gibor (strong).

Gen 32:1-21
Father I praise you that you are a great and wonderful God who has watched over my life since the moment of my conception. I thank you for your many blessings poured out on my life. I especially thank you that I can communicate with you through prayer and realise this morning that along with prayer, planning and preparation on my part are alos important. We are in this together, help me to pull my weight.

Gen 31:43-55
Lord I thank you this morning that you have made me for a purpose. I thank you that part of that purpose is to have and enjoy relationships. I ask Father that in the area of relationships you would help me to forgive and be completely trustworthy.

Psalm 46
Thank you Father that you are the God of peace. Lord you help me find peace and I pray that I would make the most of this opportunity. For me peace is not just about a life without conflict, but a life shared with you, the God of peace. Lord I pray that through every circumstance of life I might find and enjoy the peace that you have to offer.

Matt 6:25-34
Father my study notes ask me this morning to think about how much I worry in comparrison to how much concern I have. On reflection, I do not worry much at all, neither do I have a lot of concerns, this is because I feel extremely blesssed and very content. I can see however that concern motivates and helps move situations forward. I pray that you would turn any doubt I have into resiliance and thank you do indeed supply all my needs.
