Thank you that you are the God who renews and refreshes. Would you help me to live in a way that demonstrates my expectancy that you are limitless in your power and grace and therefore can change any situation.

Thank you Father that I am secure in you. You know me, you love me and you are changing me. Help me, in the light of this to serve you more confidently.

Father would you continue to help me develop an understanding of my calling to be a follower of you who shares your good news with those you have called me to work, rest and play alongside.

Today Lord I thank you for the beautiful image in Isaiah 42: 3. That you have been gentle with me when I have been bruised, I have not been broken, when smouldering, havent been put out. Would you use me that I may show your tenderness to others.

Father, thank you that there is no one like you. Out of your greatness you provide for all that I need. You give me strength and hope.

WHO CAN KNOW the mind of our creator?

To play the notes of wisdom’s melody?

Who has weighed the dust of every mountain?
Who has walked the mysteries of the deep?
Who has laid the earth on its foundation?

Lord, I pray that I might change- when I ask you to take me out of a situation please focus me rather to invite you in. Help me to know you provide stability, that you bring soverignty and that you will shepherd me in and through difficult situations.

In Luke 24; 36-53 I read of a huge transformation, from being frightened to being at peace and able to worship continually. Holy Spirit would you bring to my life a complete peace as I trust firmly in you, let my response be continual worship too.

Lord thank you that you reveal yourself to us in different ways. Thank you for drawing alongside. Will you continue to reveal yourself to me, your good and perfect will for my life. In all circumstances may I urge you to be near to me that I may rely upon you and in you find inspiration and strength.

Lord, today I ask that you would fill me with belief and enthusiasm. You are indeed risen - Hallelujah

The temple curtain was torn in two!
Lord, thank you that you have opened the way for me to have an intimate relationship with Father God.

Man of sorrows! What a name
For the Son of God, who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim!
Hallelujah! what a Saviour!

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood:
Hallelujah! what a Saviour!

Guilty, vile, and helpless, we;
Spotless Lamb of God was He:
Full atonement—can it be?

Lifted up was He to die,
‘It is finished!’ was His cry:

Thank you Jesus for the amazing strength you showed that first Good Friday. You changed the course of history and I will be forever grateful.

Lord, the crowd shouted, Crucify Him! - help me not to be one of them. I pray that with what I think, say and do that I would bring honour to your name and not a nail that held you on the cross.

How deep the Father’s love for us,
How vast beyond all measure,
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure.
How great the pain of searing loss –
The Father turns His face away,
As wounds which mar the Chosen One
Bring many sons to glory.

Behold the man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders;
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers.
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished;
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished.

I will not boast in anything,
No gifts, no power, no wisdom;
But I will boast in Jesus Christ,
His death and resurrection.
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer;
But this I know with all my heart –
His wounds have paid my ransom.

I learn today the strength that comes from humility and in fact how strong you have to be to be truly humble. Thank you Lord Jesus for going through the humiliation of a false trial - you who upholds justice and one day will judge the world.

Lord help me never to disown you. I guess I have never been in a 'pressure cooker' like Peter on the night of your trial, but when I do find myself in difficulties, Lord help me always to stand for you and never disown you.

Lord Jesus, thank you that you chose the cross for me. That the death you died was to give me the opportunity of eternal life.

We bow down and confess you are Lord in this place.

Lord, thank you that today, Palm Sunday, we learn so much about humility, that you the only son of God would give himself to death for me.

Lord I thank you for the account in Luke's gospel of the last supper. Help me always experience the power of your brokenness making me whole and your blood poured out to make me clean

Psalm 31: 3 Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
Father help me remember the truth in this scripture.

Lord, thank you that in every circumstance of life you are steadfast. In good times and bad you remain constant and faithfull - help me remember that you are in each issue I face.

Thank you that today you reminded me through Psalm 29 of how you speak through different circumstances (the earthquake, wind and fire). Lord I pray that un my life and in my circle of influence you would let your voise be heard.

Psalm 28
Lord, thank you for the illustrations David uses here to describe you. Rock, Strength, Sheild, fortress and Shepherd. Will you help me and my brothers and sisters at ECBC recognise these qualities in you and give us a determination and faith to move ahead.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer,

I know one day I'll be with you in heaven, for now Lord I pray that you would focus me and develop me. I want to be completely yours.

Lord, I feel at home wherever I may be. Thank you for your countless blessings and peace at this time. At home, at work, at Church I feel in the place you have called me to be.

Thank you Lord that you are merciful to me, that in the midst of trouble you are an ever present help.

Thank you that I am first and foremost a child of God. Clearly the other roles I have of spouse, parent, professional and leader are important, but the most important role I have is being a child of God.

Living Sacrifices
1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Holy Spirit, would you come and change the way I think.

Thank you Father that you are helping me break the cycle of sin in my life, continue to do so I pray. Then show me other areas that I and you may deal with. I want to be holy.

Thank you Father that you did't only make me aware of my sin, but you also made me aware of forgiveness and grace.

Thank you for the illustration of your Church as your bride. You are indeed the perfect husband. Your death and ressurection has set me free from the rules of the old Jewish law. Help me to be law abiding but fully aware of living by grace.

Thank you Father that in Romans 6: 15-23 ther is a clear message - I have a choice to make. I choose to serve you with my whole being, would you help me do that please.
