In an ever changing society that is moving away from you, I pray Father God that you would give me strength and boldness to live for you today.

This weeks study of Romans from 1:1 to 3:20 has been difficult. A reminder of my sinful nature - I pray that as I reflect on this I will discern your will Father God, that will cause me to lead a more holy life.

Lord, if there are things I am saying or doing that are preventing people seeing you through me, then please show me and help me live a more God reflecting life.

Paul explains clearly here, the only requirment of salvation is faith in God's grace. (my talk yesterday) What I do must demonstrate my faith. Help me be a clear example to all I meet today.

thank you for paul's introduction to romans that illustrates 2 relationships paul enjoys with you. a child of a loving Father and a servant of an awsome God. help me to get the balance right in my life, the balance of honour and humility.

i really appriciated our Cell meeeting last night, the openness and honesty and sense of community was a real blessing. Lord today i pray that you would help me become closer to you, that i may grow in humility and know that i am fully accepted by you.
